The Garland
We’re so excited to celebrate our wedding at The Garland, a stylish and welcoming hotel in North Hollywood that blends retro charm with modern comfort. Guests can enjoy the beautiful pool, on-site dining at The Front Yard, and a complimentary shuttle that runs hourly to Universal Studios Hollywood.
Important booking notes:
The discounted wedding rate applies only when staying both Friday (July 31) and Saturday (August 1). The discount will not apply to single-night stays.
When booking, you may need to manually adjust the dates at the top to include both Friday and Saturday nights to see the discounted rate.
If you would like to add Thursday night (July 30) or extend your stay beyond Saturday, please book the discounted dates first. Then email VBarajas@thegarland.com with your confirmation number and the additional night you’d like to add. Please note that the discounted rate applies only to Friday and Saturday nights.
Parking at The Garland is approximately $50 per day, even for hotel guests. We will be covering parking costs on the wedding day for any non–hotel guests who choose to drive.

Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City
If The Garland sells out or you prefer a different accommodation, we recommend the Hilton Los Angeles / Universal City, located just about 5–8 minutes from The Garland. This full-service hotel offers spacious rooms, a beautiful pool, on-site dining, and sweeping views of the Hollywood Hills.
It’s a convenient and comfortable option close to the wedding venue and Universal Studios Hollywood. Please note that you’ll be responsible for your own transportation to and from The Garland, but rideshares like Uber and Lyft are quick and easily available in the area.
Parking at the Hilton is typically around $55 per night for self-parking or valet. If you plan to rent a car, be sure to factor this into your stay.
Transport
Hollywood Burbank Airport
We highly recommend flying into Burbank Airport (BUR) instead of LAX! While tickets might be slightly more expensive, it's totally worth it for the ease and convenience. Burbank is a smaller airport with shorter lines, less chaos, and way less traffic. Plus, the wedding hotel is less than 15 minutes away, so you’ll get there quickly and stress-free.
Los Angeles International Airport
Flying into LAX? It’s totally doable—but keep in mind that it’s one of the busiest airports in the country. Expect longer lines, crowds, and heavy traffic, especially during peak hours. The Garland (our wedding hotel in North Hollywood) is about 45 minutes to an hour away, depending on traffic. If you're using a rideshare like Uber or Lyft, note that you'll need to take a shuttle to the LAX-it lot (the designated pickup area), which can add extra time. We recommend scheduling your ride in advance. If you're flying into LAX and need to get to the San Fernando Valley, the Van Nuys FlyAway is an easy and budget-friendly option. It’s a nonstop shuttle that runs between all LAX terminals and the Van Nuys station, with buses running roughly every 30–60 minutes, even late at night.
The ride costs $9.75, and it takes about 45–70 minutes, depending on traffic. You can buy your ticket right at the bus stop using a card or through their mobile app—no cash needed. Once you arrive at the Van Nuys terminal, you can grab a taxi, rideshare, or get picked up—it’s a clean, well-lit, and safe area with a small parking lot.
We recommend it for anyone heading to the Valley—it’s way cheaper than a taxi or rideshare from the airport, and it saves you from driving after a long flight!
Ride Share
If you choose to stay somewhere other than The Garland, please note that you’ll be responsible for arranging your own transportation to and from the wedding events. We recommend using rideshare apps like Uber or Lyft, which are affordable and convenient throughout Los Angeles.
Parking at The Garland is approximately $50 per day for hotel guests.
If you are staying overnight at the hotel, this daily parking fee will not be covered.
However, if you are only coming to the hotel for the wedding itself and are not staying overnight, we will cover the cost of your parking on the wedding day.
This makes it easy for our local guests or those staying elsewhere to attend the celebration without worrying about parking costs.
